Custom Design Process
I love the design process at Marti & Co because it starts with the Bride sharing her wedding day and the style she wants for her wedding veil, headpiece and other accessories for her gown. The design process is a creative mix of the Bride's style with design suggestions given on style, fabric, color and embellishments for the custom veil or bridal accessory. Ultimately, the design process is driven by the bride and her wish for her wedding day. A tip we'd like to pass along is to allow plenty of time for design production. Any extended production times will be listed on our website.
Timelines for Design Production
Our typical lead time for Marti & Co Veils & Accessories is 3-6 weeks. Orders are placed into production once payment, order information (including the date of your wedding) and measurements are received. Rush fees may apply to veils and accessories ordered during our peak season, May - October.

Please order all accessories for your bridal party at once to avoid dye lot changes in the fabric/materials. Marti & Co cannot guarantee dye lot matches on items ordered separately. Great care will be taken to get the color as close as possible to match. Please have your payment method ready when ordering.
Our custom veils start at $75 for a one tier white, diamond white, or ivory. Prices go up from this base price depending on fabric, embellishment, design complexity and construction.
Discounts on multiples
• 5% per item when ordering 2-3 items in the same style
• 10% per item when ordering 3-5 items in the same style
• 15% per item when ordering 5+ items in the same style
Rush Orders During Peak Season
Marti & Co. can accommodate rush orders depending on our production schedule and availability of the chosen custom design.
Rush fees may apply to orders under 4 weeks and also to orders with 4+ custom accessories placed 2-4 weeks to pay for additional staff.
4 weeks - $25 per veil, belt, fascinator
3 weeks - $35 per veil, belt, fascinator
2 weeks - $45 per veil, belt, fascinator
• During the off-season, November - April, we may be able to shorten lead times to 1-2 weeks, depending on the number of custom design items ordered and the availability of embellishments and fabrics.

Styles and Colors
Veiling: white, ivory, diamond white, blush, and blue. Other colors and styles (like English net) may be ordered and swatches are available. French veiling for birdcage veils comes in many colors. Swatches are available for all veiling styles and will be mailed at no charge. Send email request, including your mailing address to: email@example.com
Sizing and Measurement
Standard birdcage veils:
Measure with a nonstretch measuring tape, the width of your head at the widest point and list this measurement in inches on the order form.
For all other veils:
Measure from the back of your head where you want the veil comb attached to your hairstyle to the point on your body where you want the veil to end. An example, for a fingertip veil measure from where the veil will be attached to your hairstyle to the end of your fingertips. Of note, a cathedral veil usually ends 6+ inches beyond the train of your gown. Then list this measurement in inches in the Note to Seller box for Etsy and in an email for all other orders.

It's easy! Measure around your leg with a nonstretch measuring tape where you want to wear the garter and record this measurement in inches in the Note to Seller box for Etsy and in an email for all other orders.

Marti & Co is an artisan business and is open by appointment, Tuesday - Saturday, 10 - 5:30.
All orders are shipped Priority Mail via the United States Postal Services. Custom orders purchased from my Etsy Shop will be mailed via Etsy shipping. An exact shipping price will be emailed after the order is received. Upon request, other forms of shipment may also be available.
Buying a custom design for a friend? We'd love to add the extra touch by sending your gift in a gift box or by wrapping your gift. There's is a small additional fee for a gift box or gift wrapping. A free gift tag is included with the purchase of gift wrap or a gift box.
We accept all major credit cards. Payments may be made over the phone, however, all orders must be submitted by email, mail or in person. Payment in full is required for all web-based orders and 50% deposit for in-person orders.
